In this chapter, the Genie and Snape come up with a plan to set Hermione up by making her fail her tests and destroying her reputation, the first step towards which is to make her accept "Albus"' proposition to tutor her on certain subjects. However, the plotters seemingly find themselves in fairly hot water when Hermione's complaints trigger the arrival of an appointed investigator - the pink-haired Auror Nymphadora Tonks.
